Service Description

Throughout life, we’re taught to control our full range of emotions. We think we should force ourselves to feel happy when we’re sad. To avoid disappointment, anger, or unhappiness, we distract ourselves with long working hours or binging food/alcohol/or TV. These provide a brief sense of control today, but the painful emotions return more intensely. And that’s when control becomes the problem. The alternative to control is the willingness to experience emotion. Through gentle acceptance, we choose to open ourselves to the full range of private experiences.
